SpotlightAdjusting accessories

In Accessory edit mode, the Object Info palette displays the accessory parameters. Many of the parameters are identical to those of the lighting device, as described in Lighting device properties. However, additional parameters display in accessory edit mode that let you fine-tune the accessory’s location and orientation in 2D and 3D views. Only those parameters are described here.

When editing the accessory parameters for a multiple selection of lighting devices, use the arrow buttons on the Lighting Accessory Tool bar to scroll through the selection and work on the desired lighting device. Edits to one accessory apply to the same accessory on all selected lighting devices.

Use the tools on the Device Accessories palette to adjust the view as needed. Only the 2D component of each accessory is visible in Top/Plan view. Only the 3D component is visible in 3D views.

You can change the accessory stacking order, as described in De volgorde van objecten wijzigen. Upon exiting the accessory edit mode, the accessories are rearranged and their index numbers update to reflect the new order.

To view and edit the accessory parameters:

Select one or more accessories in the edit area. The parameters display on the Object Info palette.
